Foreman – Landscape Construction WA

Seeking qualified landscape construction foreman for our Washington Division.

This person will perform onsite supervision of overall construction jobs both onsite and offsite. Ability to manage crews ranging in size from 2-20, communicate effectively with both employees and onsite contacts, operate various types of landscape equipment, read blue prints & specifications and understand labor & material budgeting processes. The Foreman is responsible for enforcing appropriate safety practices at all times. This position reports to the designated Project Manager.

Previous experience required. Valid driver license is required for this position. Spanish language skills are a plus. Competitive wages based on experience.

JOB DUTIES

  • Work on heavy and light trucks, automobiles, medium and small construction equipment and two and four cylinder landscape equipment.
  • Maintain fleet records using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Work is done in a high volume shop and requires the skills to work quickly and accurately.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with fleet management including familiarity with state and federal regulations and record keeping requirements.
  • Experience as a hands on mechanic.
  • Physical ability to perform all tasks related to vehicle and equipment repairs and maintenance.
  • Competent computer skills working with Word, Excel, Outlook and other basic computer functions.
  • Must come fully equipped with tools to complete job functions.
  • Must have a valid Driver License.

An understanding or experience of the following is a plus, but not required;

Irrigation Tech

Seeking experienced Irrigation Tech to perform mostly trouble shooting and repair of existing irrigation systems.

Experience and knowledge of irrigation systems, clocks, backflows, valves, etc is a must.

Driver’s license is required and must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Bilingual skills are a plus.

Enhancement Laborer

This manual labor position is required to follow the direction of the Crew Leader in the contracted maintenance and installation of enhancements of our clients’ grounds.

Prior experience in maintenance and construction preferred e.g.; knowledge and experience of general maintenance practices including mowing, edging, pruning, leaf removal, irrigation installation and repair, industry standard planting practices, and ability to lift and move heavy objects.

The applicant is responsible for transportation to branch location.

Bi-lingual skills are a plus, but not required.

Applicant will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
